Wonderful Weekend in Cartimar

Last weekend was a blast. I don't know what went in Yam's mind when he decided to bring me to Cartimar. . He always had these excuses to delay the visit so I was pretty excited when he told me that we were going. Afterall, this trip has long been overdue since we got our first dog, Bonbon

Maria, my colleague, who is also a dog lover, would often share stories about her visits in Cartimar. She's actually the one responsible why I have been bugging Yam to go there as her stories were very enticing.

Cartimar is an international shopping area in Buendia Pasay which is known for its bargain prices. When you ask any locals about this place, they would most likely tell  you that it's a colossal pet shop. You see, inside this complex is a long stretch of pet stores that cater to all your pet needs. There you will see practically anything that you need or desire for your pet. And if you do not have a pet yet, you can just stroll along the lane and see a lot of dog breeds for sale - at a lower price!

I must say that their dogs look pretty healthy. I am a dog owner and I should know once I see a sickly pup. The amazing thing though about the prices here is that they are almost half the price compared to pet stores found in malls. These pups below are 2 month old doxies  priced at 5000 Php/pup without paper. Most likely, it will fall for 6500 Php once a PCCI  paper is included. I found a doxie in one of the pet stores inside Festival Mall in Alabang and it amounts to a staggering 12,000 pesos! Bizarre isn't it?

Surely, there are a lot of dog breeds to choose from and the price is very practical. However, I still would recommend that you get your pup from a reputable dog breeder. There is nothing more secure than seeing  how your new bundle of furry joy was raised and what kind of dogs it's parents are. Those considerations could not be met by Cartimar. But hey, if you think that cute little puppy should already be sleeping soundly beside you, then by all means, get it. :)

Here's a map on where Cartimar is located.
